i wrote a poem / song about my landlord

i need to say this. it’s selfish and it’s for me but it’s also for everyone who has ever been discouraged by others. 

if i wanted job security, i wouldn’t have gone to an art school. i’m absolutely tired of being asked the same questions or being told the same things. yeah i know the job market is pretty nonexistent for animators right now. i got a job as an animator while still in school though. that’s weird.  

and i’m going to make what i want and this is because i’m passionate and hard-working and maybe you can’t say that about yourself so you criticize others, who to you, just seem like sleepy-eyed dreamers. 

well if only we could all be realists.
