Here’s a little poem I wrote while going through some difficult times last year:
Let’s not forget
the winding roads of the past.
Roads travelled, alone.
Friends cannot understand
(maybe if they were there).
A man in a bar
travels his road of the past.
The wine replaces
slowly
what is lost.
Memory fades
until we struggle to
remember
what we ate for breakfast.
